Pieter Gabriëls starts up new company, connecting Europe and Asia.

Papenveer, The Netherlands – Pieter Gabriëls starts up his own company ACE-Force as from October 1st 2011, and will concentrate on both international automotive business and also other businesses for companies requiring his specific knowledge on European markets.

Pieter Gabriëls (47) has decided – after a more than 25 year career in the automotive industry – to set up his own company. Amongst others, he has joined BMW Group Netherlands, BMW AG in Munich and was responsible as the CEO for Saab in The Netherlands. In the last 5 years he was responsible for the business development within the European automotive group AutoBinck for 5 years. Pieter will now offer his network and experiences with Asian OEM´s in China, Korea and Japan to other automotive companies.

”My wish to start up my own company already exists for a longer period of time. But if you do, you should be able to offer exactly what the market needs in a unique way. Now is the time to do that, when more and more European companies understand they need to co-operate with China in one way or another” Pieter says. “Although it might be logical to focus on automotive, this is not necessarily the case. I am open to other branches as well or other support like marketing strategy, commercial advice and interim management.”

ACE-Force stands for Asia Connections Europe. “and that is the core business” he says. “My – in the meanwhile – extensive network in China with Chinese companies and their management with relevant positions in the industry, offers me a solid fundament to build my business upon. It goes without saying that electric vehicles is part of that.”

Pieter Gabriëls will operate from the Amsterdam area, near to Schiphol Airport. Very handy when travelling to China (again in October) or to welcome the next delegation from China.
